Affidavit of Education Portal

South Dakota Board-approved prelicensure nursing education programs must certify that applicants for initial licensure by examination have met all requirements for graduation from their programs. 

• Only South Dakota Board-approved Administrators, or the Administrator's designated user, will be allowed to certify the completion of education.
• An approved AOG user will only be allowed to review and approve their granduates after an applicant selects their nursing program and corresponding NCLEX code.

Administrator Account

• The Board will automatically set up an AOG account for a Board-approved Admininistrator. 
• The AOG Portal will then send the Administrator an email with directions to create an account. 

• The Administrator will receive an email from the AOG portal when a graduate has applied to the Board and requires certification of education.

Designated Nursing Faculty Account

• Only an approved Administrator may request the Board give access to a designated nursing faculty member(s).
• The Administrator must attest and verify that the faculty member will have access to student information to verify that a graduate completed all of the nursing education program's requirements.
• To request access for a nursing faculty member: Email the Board and provide all required information.  Faculty AOG Email Request  
• Upon receipt of the email and verification of information, the Board will set up the AOG account; the AOG portal will then send an email with directions to the faculty member to create an account. 
• The faculty member will receive an email from the AOG portal when a graduate has applied to the Board and requires certification of education.
