CNA Registration by Endorsement

Requirements

Individuals who meet the following requirements may apply to be registered as a CNA in South Dakota by endorsement from another state:

1. Must have completed a Nurse Aide Training Program (NATP) that was at least 75 hours in length and be actively registered as a certified nurse aide (CNA) on another state's CNA registry.
2. Must not have any findings or convictions of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of property.
