Refresher Course

The following RN & LPN refresher programs are approved by the SDBON.

These programs provide nurses, who do not meet South Dakota's practice requirement, a way to meet the requirement to successfully renew, reactivate, or reinstate a South Dakota nursing license or for a nurse from another state to endorse into South Dakota. 

These formal programs provide a way to refresh nursing knowledge and skills to confidently and safely return to active licensure and practice. Each program offers an independent study course, students can complete the work at their own pace and according to the program's requirements.
