Registration Renewal

An actively registered CNA may renew 90 days or less prior to expiration, and must:

1. Submit evidence of having completed a minimum of 12 hours of in-service education annually during the preceding two years which must include:

   • Content on dementia management; and

   • Content on, and procedures to report incidents of: resident abuse, neglect, exploitation, and misappropriation of property

   • Nursing school courses are not applicable

2. Submit evidence of having provided a minimum of twelve hours of nursing or nursing-related services for monetary compensation during the preceding two years

3. Submit Renewal Application
