Nurse Delegation
A licensed nurse may delegate hemodialysis tasks to nursing assistants who have successfuly completed a board-approved dialysis technician training program.
Dialysis Technician Qualifications
Qualifications to be a dialysis technician include having a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, completed a board-approved dialysis technican training program, and holding national, board-approved, dialysis technician certification, or completed a board-approved training program within preceding 18 months.
