Disciplinary Actions on Registrants

In May 2026, the Board began taking disciplinary action against certified nurse aides (CNA). Actions taken by the Board are listed in the CNA Discipline by Board document; actions taken by the SD Department of Health (DOH) are listed in the CNA Discipline by DOH document. The Board does not have public documents on discipline taken by DOH. 

Public disciplinary actions taken by the Board against registered medication aides (RMA) are listed in the RMA Discipline by Board document.

Public disciplinary actions taken by the Board against diabetes aides and dialysis technicians are listed in the Diabetes Aide and Dialysis Technician Discipline by Board document. The Board no longer registers diabetes aides or dialysis technicians.
