Registration Renewal

Registrants may renew 90 days prior to expiration.

Renewal Requirements:

• A registered medication aide (RMA) must have a minimum of 12 hours of employment as a medication aide in a skilled nursing facility, assisted living center, or hospital within the preceding 2 years.
• If an individual does not have the required hours, the individual must complete the training program, retest, and apply for registration.
• Please be aware that employment hours may be subject to audit.

Complete the online RMA Renewal Application  

• After review and approval of a submitted application, an applicant's RMA registry status will be updated. 
• Applicants will not be sent a registration card; cards may be printed from the Verification Site
